OUR STORY

Quinta Filippa began in 2017 when Mike and Nikki discovered the property and named it after Mike’s eldest daughter, Filippa. What started as a dream of a holiday home evolved into a vision for a sanctuary where heritage, wellness, and nature converge.

Mike’s origins weave through this area. His mother grew up just down the road, in a small forest house with nine siblings. Quinta Filippa, once the village bread-baking hub, holds this rich heritage within its stones.

Filippa, born in 2011, has been a part of this story from the very beginning. She has spent much of her life coming to this area, balancing her city upbringing with the slower, grounding pace of the countryside. During the early days of the property, she accompanied Mike on father-daughter trips, exploring the land together and visiting family nearby. Her connection to the land runs deep, embodying the natural leadership and caring spirit of an eldest child.
