AQUARIUM & POND MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

We are looking for a detail-focused and reliable Aquarium & Pond Maintenance Specialist to care for our diverse aquatic collection including seven freshwater aquariums (500–1,000 liters each) featuring Wagumi tanks, Nature Aquarium tanks, and an outdoor tank, as well as our 1,000,000-liter koi pond.

This role is all about maintaining perfection: crystal-clear water, spotless glass, and vibrant, healthy plants and fish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform weekly maintenance on all aquariums, including plant care, fertiliser dosing, and glass cleaning.

  • Carry out and monitor water changes, check water parameters, and log results in a maintenance logbook.

  • Maintain filtration systems, including auto top-up and automatic water change (FEC) systems.

  • Monitor fish and plant health, detecting early signs of disease or stress.

  • Manage and maintain a dedicated quarantine room for fish and plant acclimation and treatment.

  • Keep detailed records of all fish and plants, including new arrivals and any treatments.

  • Maintain and service the filtration system of the large koi pond.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience with freshwater aquarium care, planted tanks, koi pond maintenance, and aquascaping.

  • Knowledge of water chemistry, plant nutrition, and aquatic disease identification.

  • Comfortable working with quarantine protocols and treatment procedures.

  • Highly organised, punctual, and proactive in spotting and solving issues early.

  • Able to keep accurate and up-to-date records.
