Quinta Filippa is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations. This role ensures that every aspect of the guest journey meets the highest standards of hospitality, from seamless programming to exceptional service and meticulous housekeeping. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hospitality, outstanding leadership skills, and the ability to foster a smooth and efficient operation across all departments.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all operational departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Recruit, train, and schedule team members, fostering a supportive and motivating work environment where everyone feels valued.
Work closely with the host team to ensure seamless arrivals, departures, and daily programming.
Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control across all operational areas.
Implement and uphold standard operating procedures and service protocols.
Collaborate on budget planning, revenue management, and strategic decision-making.
Provide hands-on support in daily operations when needed.
Develop strategic partnerships with local brands, artisans, and wellness experts to enhance Quinta Filippa’s unique offerings.
Ensure compliance with all regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospitality operations, preferably in boutique or luxury hotels such as Sublime Comporta, Six Senses, or Anantara.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and support a diverse team.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus.
